The Civil War Letters Suffolk/Portsmouth, Virginia May 19, 1862 to June 10, 1863

The regiment moves to the Portsmouth and Suffolk areas and continue with real experience in picket duty and in scouting of the nearby area, where frequent skirmishes with the Rebels occur.
