Dear Maggie

I received a letter from you yuesterday and also one today  I was very glad to hear that you and Lizzie was well as this leaves me in good health at present.  I have nothing new to write about.  evrything is quite at present.  You must excuse my Short letter as I am very buissey today  I am still acting Regemental Adjutant and I have a good deal of writing to do evryday.

hoping this will find you and our Daughter injoying the best of health
